Southern Social Kitchen was born from a simple belief: good food brings people together. We're a local small business rooted in the heart of Downtown Lexington, Texas — and we built this place for you.
How it started
Born in Lexington. Built for the Community.
Southern Social Kitchen started as a dream to bring real soul food and Cajun flavors to Downtown Lexington. We grew up eating this food — at family reunions, church suppers, and backyard cookouts — and we wanted to give our community a place to experience that same warmth and belonging.
We opened our doors on Juneteenth 2026, and from day one, our mission has been the same: cook with love, serve with pride, and make sure every single person who walks through our door feels like family. No dress code. No pretense. Just good food and good people.
